Personal Mathematics Tutor
 
I provide tutoring in Mathematics on a one-to-one basis. This is clearly the most productive way to learn. I provide a first-class tutoring service in the Surrey area catering for all age groups. I specialise in preparing students for examinations at GCSE and A level.

I have more than 30 years practical experience of the application of Mathematics in business. My academic qualification is a BSc (Hons) Mathematics from the University of Manchester. In addition I am an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications and a Chartered IT Professional. I have teaching experience of working with students of many different ages, in small groups or on an individual basis. I am able to work at home or in the student's home and can travel up to 15 miles from Cobham, Surrey.

I design my tuition so that students develop an understanding for mathematical concepts and an appreciation of the application of mathematics to problem solving. Using this approach students gain confidence in handling all aspects of the syllabus enabling them to realise their full potential.
